Ancient Yew trees line the path approaching the Chapel.  Headstones marking old graves are strategically positioned throughout this grow of Yews.

This high cross was carved in the north of Scotland to be brought to St. David's.  On the journey it was placed in Nevern, in this Churchyard.  There it has stayed. 

  
Bleeding Yew Tree - Nevern Church yard The "Bleeding Yew" Tree
This Yew tree 'bleeds' and unidentifiable red liquid that has baffled scientists and arborist for years.  The legend states that a man was hung from this tree and it has been bleeding ever since.  It also states that the tree will continue to bleed until a Welshman sits on the throne in Nevern Castle.

Pentre Ifan - Megalithic Tomb circa 3500 BC Pentre Ifan

The capstone weighs 16 tons, is over 16 feet long and sits 8 feet off the ground.  This dolmen marks an ancient burial chamber.  Legend states that fairies are often seen here. They appear as 'little children in clothes like soldiers' clothes and with red caps.

Carn Ingli (Mount of Angels) appears in background ( where St. Brynach communed with God when he he lived on the mountain as a hermit).
